Pro Bono Charity Knowledge Exchange: National Pro Bono Centre
Join us for a collaborative event bringing together pro bono charities to share best practices and connect ahead of Pro Bono Week 2025.
About the Event
Join the NPBC for the Pro Bono Charity Knowledge Exchange, where we will be bringing together professionals from pro bono charities to share insights, challenges, and best practices in delivering impactful pro bono programmes.
This in-person event is designed to foster collaboration, spark new ideas, and strengthen connections across the sector.
What to Expect
Roundtable Discussion
We’ll kick off with a collaborative roundtable exploring key aspects of pro bono delivery. When registering, you’ll be asked to share the topics you’re most interested in discussing. Anticipated themes include:
- Volunteer training and management
- Balancing volunteer commitment with casework demands
- Leveraging tech and communications
- Managing programme costs
- …and anything else you’d like to bring to the table!
Networking & Poster Showcase
After the discussion, enjoy an informal networking hour over tea, coffee, and biscuits. The room will feature posters showcasing the work of various pro bono charities. A list of attendees and digital copies of the posters will be shared in advance to help you connect with others on shared interests.
We’re delighted to open the final part of this event to the wider pro bono sector and warmly invite individuals from across the community to drop in and explore the impactful work being done by pro bono charities.
The Atrium in the International Dispute Resolution Centre will be open from 4–5pm for informal visits, offering a chance to connect with a range of charities. This drop-in session will wrap up just in time for the official launch of Pro Bono Week 2025, as we head over together to continue the pro bono conversation.
Posters
We’d love to feature your organisation! Get in touch with Emily (esherratt@nationalprobonocentre.org.uk) and we will create and print your poster free of charge using our template. Please note that due to space & logistics, we can host a maximum of 20 posters, though we will share an unlimited amount of virtual posters to attendees before the event.
Feel free to reach out to us with any queries. We look forward to seeing your organisation represented and to a lively, productive exchange of ideas!
