A workshop session for National Pro Bono Week, hosted by the UWE Business and Law Clinic for the Bristol Pro Bono Group.

Working with vulnerable clients with complex needs is a rewarding aspect of pro bono work, but can require skills which may not be fully developed through lawyers’ day to day professional experience.

This workshop session will draw on the expertise of a panel who work with vulnerable clients in different legal settings, to facilitate discussion ways of working effectively with vulnerable clients. It will explore experiences, approaches and the managing of impact upon lawyers of this challenging aspect of legal work.
