There will be no charge for the evening, and in light of this, we are inviting offers of sponsorship for the awards evening. If you are interested, please contact nickjohnson.manchester@probonocommittee.uk for further information.
As a committee we work within a national framework, which supported by the Attorney General’s Pro Bono Committee. The Committee is keen to see us engage, collaborate and promote all those involved in pro bono, which allows those members of the public who do not have financial means, to have sufficient access to justice. As you will appreciate many of the basic legal rights which are important to our society would not be upheld if pro bono was not available. During the last 12 months there have been many high-profile cases involving members of the public who have been supported by pro bono, which shows the importance of those who volunteer their time.
As such, we encourage you to support the evening to celebrate the work of Pro Bono in Greater Manchester.
If you would like to attend the event, along with any of your colleagues, you are more than welcome and you don’t have to be nominated to attend. Why not come along and network with like minded individuals and support and celebrate our pro bono champions and the wider Manchester legal community.
Please email manchester@probonocommittee.uk with the names of your attendees.
