DESCRIPTION:The Birmingham Law Society’s Pro Bono committee would like to invite you to their annual pro bono event taking place during Pro Bono Week 2024. \nIn honour of Pro Bono Week and focussing on the subtheme ‘Barred from Justice’\, Birmingham Law Society’s Pro Bono Committee is hosting a special networking event aiming to bridge the gap between pro bono services offered in the legal sector and the needs of the volunteer sector. \nThis event is aimed at legal clinics\, those who do pro bono work and the volunteer sector. Lawyers are invited to attend the event as audience members to learn more about what opportunities are available for law firms to get involved in pro bono work\, and facilitate networking. \nThe event is kindly hosted by Gowling WLG. \nAgenda \n12pm Registration\, lunch and networking\, clinic stalls exhibition \n1.15pm Speeches: BLS Pro Bono Society and Guest Speaker\, followed by questions \n2pm Networking / clinic stalls exhibition \n3pm Close \nRegistration for the event can be found here – Book Event – Birmingham Law Society.
