DESCRIPTION:The sweetest fundraiser of the year\, the Great Legal Bake\, returns from the 3 – 7 November 2025. \nCalling all Star Bakers \nCould you raise dough to support free frontline services that help some of society’s most vulnerable people? Are sweet treats up your street or does savoury make you rave-ery? \nWhether it’s blondies or brownies\, millefeuilles or petits fours\, Black Forest gateau or Swiss roll\, millionaire’s shortbread or pound cake\, taking part is easy as pie. And if sweet stuff doesn’t melt your butter why not make samosas\, sausage rolls\, or savoury scones? \nAll you need to do is register through the button below and we’ll send you a bake pack full of useful stuff like posters\, labels and stickers. So grab a group of friends or colleagues and organise a bake sale in your office\, chambers\, court or university and sell your tasty treats. \nAre you a crummy baker\, but you’d still like to take part? Why not see if a local bakery might donate some cupcakes? \n  \nIf you are not able to take part during the official bake week\, you are still welcome to sign up to bake on a date of your choice. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a collaborative event bringing together pro bono charities to share best practices and connect ahead of Pro Bono Week 2025. \nAbout the Event\nJoin the NPBC for the Pro Bono Charity Knowledge Exchange\, where we will be bringing together professionals from pro bono charities to share insights\, challenges\, and best practices in delivering impactful pro bono programmes. \nThis in-person event is designed to foster collaboration\, spark new ideas\, and strengthen connections across the sector. \nWhat to Expect\nRoundtable Discussion\nWe’ll kick off with a collaborative roundtable exploring key aspects of pro bono delivery. When registering\, you’ll be asked to share the topics you’re most interested in discussing. Anticipated themes include: \n\nVolunteer training and management\nBalancing volunteer commitment with casework demands\nLeveraging tech and communications\nManaging programme costs\n…and anything else you’d like to bring to the table!\n\nNetworking & Poster Showcase\nAfter the discussion\, enjoy an informal networking hour over tea\, coffee\, and biscuits. The room will feature posters showcasing the work of various pro bono charities. A list of attendees and digital copies of the posters will be shared in advance to help you connect with others on shared interests. \nWe’re delighted to open the final part of this event to the wider pro bono sector and warmly invite individuals from across the community to drop in and explore the impactful work being done by pro bono charities. \nThe Atrium in the International Dispute Resolution Centre will be open from 4–5pm for informal visits\, offering a chance to connect with a range of charities. This drop-in session will wrap up just in time for the official launch of Pro Bono Week 2025\, as we head over together to continue the pro bono conversation. \nPosters \nWe’d love to feature your organisation!
