The value and importance of pro bono work in light of Covid 19 – Liverpool John Moores University

We will discuss the value and importance of pro bono work with particular emphasis on the impact on access to justice of Covid-19, local initiatives and future opportunities.
Our speakers are:
– Bambos Charalambous MP, LJMU law graduate and current Shadow Justice Minister
– Siobhan Taylor, Ward of Merseyside Law Centre, Young Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year and another LJMU graduate
– Chris Topping of Jackson Lees, Human Rights Lawyer of the Year 2016.
– Rachel Stalker of LJMU who established the School of Law’s award-winning Legal Advice Centre in 2014.
