The value and importance of pro bono work in light of Covid 19 – Liverpool John Moores University

We will discuss the value and importance of pro bono work with particular emphasis on the impact on access to justice of Covid-19, local initiatives and future opportunities.

Our speakers are:

Bambos Charalambous MP, LJMU law graduate and current Shadow Justice Minister

Siobhan Taylor, Ward of Merseyside Law Centre, Young Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year and another LJMU graduate

Chris Topping of Jackson Lees, Human Rights Lawyer of the Year 2016.

Rachel Stalker of LJMU who established the School of Law’s award-winning Legal Advice Centre in 2014.
